Before Picture / Gas meter & earthquake valve installation
Installation of an earthquake safety shut off valve. Needed for in case of a natural disaster or sometimes depending on which city your property is located on, required for complying with and passing of a city inspection after having a major remodel or a major updating on your property for example, a new roof. This particular one had an extra line connection that went to an outdoor supply source, could be to a pool, grill, fire pit, out door heater or fire place, etc.
After Picture / Gas meter & earthquake valve installation
Installation completed, after installation bleeding out of all the air is needed through out the house so that all natural gas supplied fixtures can turn right back on and have no issues with turning back on. Also any pilot lights need to be re-ignited for typically tank water heaters, furnaces, wall furnaces or older stoves.
