Project Details

Before Picture

– Old & worn out pressure regulator valve and water main valve to a 1950’s era residential home that was buried and covered up by the property’s landscaping.

After Picture
– Installed a new pressure regulator valve to maintain the property’s water pressure that is being supplied by the water company at over 100psi to the entire neighborhood. So that it can reduce the water pressure to the home at a more manageable & subtle 65psi. This helps prevent for the property any common and random water leaks from all the Plumbing fixtures, pipes from bursting open, water heater’s pressure relief valve from going off, water hammering and wear & tier to all the fixtures.
– The water main shut off valve for turning on & off the potable water to the property was updated from a older style multi- turning handle gate valve to an easier and convenient quarter turn handle style ball valve.
– A water hose connection valve was added for water pressure testing. Home had old galvanized pipes so brass fittings were used accordingly as needed and updated where needed to copper pipe.
